In order to balance economic considerations with efforts at preventing local transmission of COVID-19, some countries,
including Barbados, have implemented RT-PCR testing to allow a waiver or shortening of the quarantine period. The
timing of such a test may be immediately prior to travel, on arrival, and at variable times after arrival. Some protocols
utilise multiple tests.
